What about privacy, security, and confidentiality?
We take careful precautions to protect our customers' information. The TimeTracker server is as secure as can reasonably be provided, and is housed in a state-of-the-art secure facility with power and internet backup (details).
Your project site is password protected and we will not sell or share your information or any data you enter. No one will be able to access your data unless you grant permission.
Though we offer safeguards to protect your data, please keep in mind that we can not guarantee 100% security. Take appropriate measures with your links, passwords, and user accounts. We also invite you to review our privacy policy.
What are the system requirements to use TimeTracker?
Since TimeTracker is hosted on our servers, there's nothing to install and no server/platform requirements to worry about.
All you need is a modern web browser with Javascript turned on (TimeTracker officially supports IE 6 or later on the PC,Firefox on Mac, PC, Linux, and Safari on Mac) and an internet connection.
Trikr does not support IE 5.x on the Mac or PC. If you have IE 5, we recommend switching to Firefox - it's modern, fast, compatible, and free.
Can we run TimeTracker on our own servers?
Trikr is a web-based, hosted service. It is not available for purchase to install on your own servers.
